I've confirmed that adapter is working correctly in Windows 11 (dual-boot) so the problem is with Linux system. I'm not sure, maybe it was caused by some of the updates. However, just recently after rebooting my machine I can no longer use the adapter, it's just gone. I have Ubuntu 21.10 and I've managed it to work with MediaTek MT7921 wireless adapter.
